Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah: Shira Choo Choo's Engagement

Dear Al-Farrel,

Do you know same day last year, April 3rd 2011 was your Auntie Shira's Engagement. And looking at my face, a day after the baby shower. At first Ayah mcm hesitance to let me go, because of my unwell condition due to major back pain. But, Bonda insisted nak pegi jugak! Alhamdulillah, your Arwah Auntie Shiela sanggup pick me up. (Oh I missed her!)

So jyeah,  now that Auntie Shira dah pon married to the guy she got engaged with :) Alhamdulillah. They are not expecting yet! Not until Auntie Shira done with her PTD thingy. InsyaAllah mana tahu bonda sama-sama conceive dengan dia next year who knows? InsyaAllah. Haha Incase you wonder what conceive is! Don't ask! :) Just kidding ok sonny? Love you.

Guessing Game

Today, I was in the living area with all my siblings and everyone was too excited for their first nephew's grand arrival which will be anytime soon. 

So we played a guessing game. From today's date, April 14th until May 1st. Choose a date they think my baby will pop out :) Haha. 

I love my siblings. 

And we had made our mind to stick with his name which we've been calling since the fifth month, I think :)

Hi all.

I am today 36 weeks and 5days.

And today, I've got a package from my sister in Singapore. Thank you Siska! It's a starter kit from Tommee Tippee which incluce 2 x 5oz bottles, 2 x 9oz bottles, a pacifier and brushes. Thank youuuu sis!!! It helps! Since we haven't bought any bottles yet :)

They was in Malaysia during my baby shower last week but they were in Langkawi for holiday to celebrate their anniversary. Too bad they can't join us :( Anyway thank you very much siska! I will surely sterilized the bottle first before use it. But Sterilizer tak ada lagii.. How?! Lol.

Meet Md Shaqeel Kaysan 4 months, Siska's little Hero! Auntie misses you so much tahu takk!?? Tunggu anak auntie depart then you both can be pen pal ok like your mom and me aite, doll! :)

I was 36 weeks and 2 days.

So last Saturday, my best friend threw a Baby shower for us. Thank you Azyan Nuraini! It was very much fun fun fun! I bet everyone had a great time too :) I will upload more photos later, waiting for my friend, Ejoy Esmail @ Ayah Ejoy, as he wanted my baby to call him Ayah Ejoy to pass me all the pictures. hehe

I feel so much love!

As all if you know, I'm in week 35 now. And after next week, I am counting days. Everything is shown now, my hands are getting bigger and bolder :) My face and especially nose is wider. Everything in me is 3 times bigger :) I am now 69.7kg. Woohoo! Eventhough, somehow sikit-sikit I feel unsecured but I feel so much love when people around me told that I still look stunning. Awwwh! No seriously, I really need that now :) 

Anyway, just to keep all of you updated. There will be an event hosted by my best friend, Azyan Agil, the one who threw a surprise bridal shower for me last year. Familiar? Mestila kan :) It will be this Saturday, April 2nd 2011. Eight at night.
There will be good foods of course! We'll play fun games for sure as well as  enjoy the company of old and new friends :)

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful people around me, the baby and I feel so much love. Not only just because of this baby shower but also when people call me and concerned about our health and conditions :)

Check up in Week 35

Hi all.

Today, I went for my first baby check up at Serdang Hospital, a place where I  will give birth at. InsyaAllah. We decided and made up our mind to give birth at GH over Private Hospital, insyaAllah. Of course, I know everyone wants to know how my experience was.

Personally, Fadhil and I, we both satisfied. Orang memang ramai but the number was running fast too. 

9.45am: During arrival, I have to take number and I was at number 2266 and during that time was 2196, so dalam 70 orang. Mula-mula memang macam, alamak lamanya. But seriously, the number was running fast! :) In the mean time masa tunggu number tu, kita sempat jumpa pelbagai ragam orang kat Hospital Kerajaan, baby newborn cute-cute. OKU yang kaki hancur la. And ada tu banduan kena gari dgn polis maybe ada appointment kencing manis dengan doctor. Hehe. Masa tu berlalu dengan pantas, fadhil and I beli roti makan sambil tunggu and pon gain new experience. So then, my number pon kena panggil. Tiba-tiba nervous mcm nak ambik exam. Hehe. So we registered and kena bayar RM30 sahaja for first timer, and next following check up bayar RM5 sahaja. Save nya :)

Then, lepas register tu. I kena pergi O&G department to meet my gynea. Situ pon kejap je, dalam 10 orang tapi ada byk doctors. Sambil-sambil tunggu turn tu after ambil air kencing/berat badan and Blood Pressure, they have a talk on breastfeeding. Wow. Memang good inputs la while waiting :) Habis-habis talk tu dalam 15mins my number kena paged! hehe.

I dapat doctor yang cute-cute chubby. gitu Doc Ainy, so friendly and soft spoken. Fadhil and I terus ada chemistry :) Syukur Alhamdulillah.

Then, she checked my last record, she asked,' baby breech (melintang) yea during last check up? That was my 33 weeks. Then, dia ckp not to worry until week 36 and above. So kita pegi scan jom. Yayy! (Dalam hati I mintak2 baby dah head down)

So then dalam ultrasound room, haisk! Doctor tu friendly sangat tau :) hehe. Okay so dia terus point kat my under tummy la. Tengok-tengok :)))) Alhamdulillah baby dah head down :) tapi belum engaged lagi la. Fuh! Syukur alhamdulillah :) Bonda happy sangat, ayah pon happy! Heart beat baby syukur cantek. Doc measure air ketuban pon okay. Baby is now 2.5kgs :) Just nice :)Tak henti-henti bersyukur :D

So our next check up will be April 18th :) that time I will be 38weeks by right. MasyaAllah. Cepatnya kan! :D

My conclusion, kita jangan stereotype apa-apa selagi kita tak cuba satu tempat tu. And one thing I believe, bukan manusia (doctor)yang tolong kita tapi Allah yang akan tolong kita. Doctor hanya menjalankan tugas mereka untuk membantu kita :) InsyaAllah. Memang semua ini bahagian masing-masing. Tapi Fadhil and I agreed to have each other's back in any situations! Alhamdulillah

Sesungguhnya anak itu adalah anugerah yang tiada belah bahagi.

30 weeks down and more or less than 10 weeks to go!

 Hey hey! look who's back :) told you I will update my blog regularly (for now.lol)

How's it going? Just so you know, baby is 30weeks today in my womb! 30 weeks carrying this such a wonderful gift from Him and more or less than 10 weeks we're going to be a parents! We're thrilled and ecstatic about it :) Who doesn't huh? I hope everything will be find as what we planned. Well, I plan to do it naturally. Hopefully everything will turn out good, InsyaAllah. We can do this right, baby boy? Hehe. We have some names for you,sweetheart. It's just we haven't finalized yet! One thing for sure, your ayah wants to start the legacy, by putting his last name 'Ridzuan' to each kids we will have :)

So today, I went to Ikea with my baby sister and we had a sisterly talk! Alia is definitely eager for her 1st ever nephew in my womb! hehe :) We had steamboat for our lunch. Then, had ice cream at Ikea. Then heading back home. We were running from traffic actually!

Renung-renungkan.

Well hello everyone! I've been away for quite a long time, really sorry y'all. Bad blogger, Putri! LOL.

Anyway, there's a lot of things happened while I was away. I managed to organized a surprise party for my best friend's birthday. Although, it was a week earlier to her actual birthday (which she had no clue about it at all), we totally had so much fun! I planned it when I was listing down,'Things I want to do in 2011' in my new organizer :) last december 2010 hehe and yeas! mission accomplished! We hope she liked what we planned although there's only a few people involved.

Im really enjoying my pregnancy so much, I'm not working and free for anything. Alhamdulillah :) As much as I missed working life, I really really have to enjoy this moment now or never. I can do what ever I want, or go where ever I want. Some people asked me, ' Hey! Putri buat apa sekarang?' Somehow, I hate that question. 

Cuba la tanya, 'Putri sihat ke?' or 'How far along you are in your pregnancy?'. You know? Lagi-lagi kalau memang dah lost contact, tiba-tiba tanya, 'buat apa sekarang' .duh?

.. I jawab,' Tak buat apa, duduk rumah. Kumpul pahala :)'

Senang kan jawab macam tu. Lagi bagus! And mesti diaorang semua senyum je bila I jawab mcm tu. Haha. 

*Moral of the story: Kalau Jumpa kawan lama, cuba tanya, 'how are you? Lama tak jumpa kan? Last masa kat UiTM dulu.. bla bla bla. dah about 10 mins tu baru la tanya what'd u been up to ke'

Well, anyway .. Last week I spend the whole day with Kak M and her kids! We baked! :) Carrot cheese cake.

Pregnancy update:

- I am 30 weeks already!

- I love drinking nescafe so much lately. I was worried at first but most of my friends said it's okay if I'm okay with it. Drink lots of plain water afterwards.

- Alhamdulillah, no more major back pain since the 7month. I hope it stays this way. 

- I am more active now, brisk walking like 3/4 times a week. I even can play badminton still. :)

- Oh no! I forgot the last time I took my prenatal pills! Huish! 

- Baby is growing bigger and bigger. Alhamdulillah.

- I always have this weird dream. 

- Next check up will be 2 weeks from now. We might do the 4D insyaAllah.

 Latest: 29 weeks and 5days.

My baby checklist!

It's very fun to make a checklist for your baby, listing everything down on what to have for a new born baby. Me, as a first time mother-to-be even though I came from a big family (I'm the 2nd of 8 siblings) I had experienced taking care of my brothers + sisters since they were day 1 on earth, however the feeling of having your own child is way way different. Here, I'd love to thank my biological parents :) and my Umi for raising me up with love! I appreciate it :)

Okay! The checklist are:

Baby's clothes

- Jumpsuits for sleepwear

- Long and Short Sleeves Bodysuits

- Long Pants

- A lot of socks and hand socks.

- Swaddle. I might made that one myself

- Hooded Towels. at least 3 especially or baby boy :) that's what I read from reader review. 

- Blankets

- Barut

- Cloth diaper. I'll try that! :)

- Disposable diapers too. 

Baby's Furnitures 

- Crib/ Play pen. 

I'm thinking of getting a play pen because it's portable and movable. I don't mind invest a little bit on it for a better quality for future too :)

- Change table with a changing pad as well.

- Rocky chair. 

Feeding and rocking my baby to sleep with ease (KIV)

- Cupboard, 

LOL lama tak dengar that word. but yea! i need it to store his cloths and stuffs.

-Bouncer from Fisher Price  (that's on my wish list!hehe) 

Toiletries and Bathing Stuffs

- Baby tub (must have) with a non slippery pad.

- Shampoo/ soap/ baby oil/ lotion/ 'those' nappy cream and etc.

* My friend said, not to buy the big size toiletries because you might  be getting a lot of gifts later on. So just get a travel set for the start. Thanks!

Others

- Stroller (a lightweight preferable) & Car seat are must.

But we'll get those later after the birth.

- Avent Newborn Start Kit

I hope I have a lot of milk for my baby! That does not only save a lot, but my husband doesn't need to wake up and buat susu in the middle of the night. (that's the deal hunn!) hehe.

Mommy's check list 

- Set bersalin 

(all the oil and stuffs) from Nona Roguy? Recommendations? Luckily I've a friend's mom working at kedai jamu :) in PKNS

- Confinement Lady

- I'm getting my maternity pillow soon! Hopefully!!!! :)

Dear baby boy, (we haven't finalize your name yet)

You are 27 weeks and 1 day old today. We went to see the doc yesterday and she said everything (you and i) are good. Your heart beats was fantastic (163 bpm) quite fast because you're too happy inside you know we're scanning you. I'm holding your picture now. It's so very wonderful and what a miracle! 

Your weight is now 1.186kg or 1186 gram. You gained double from last month. (573g) Alhamdulillah. But, Bonda gained 12kg. how come!? hehe. 

Ukur lililt kepala pon dah besar from 4.36cm to 5.44cm. Wow! Hehe (Tamau besar-besar sangat okay sayang. but insyaAllah bonda and you will push it hard!gimme 5!) Doc said, your 'tulang peha' I forgot the english name :) is quite long! Sama mcm your dad :) InsyaAllah kalau ada rezeki lebih we'll do the 4D next check up ok sweetheart. We're so happy to see you yesterday. You were upside down! We hope that you'll be in a perfect health inside the womb  and sorry bonda eats lots of spicy food? Was it too spicy? Tak la kan,!?  Oh and, we're sorry, We don't have a nursing room for you yet! Havent found a perfect home for us. I hope you don't mind, sweetheart. But we promise to cater as much love as we can, and teach you to be respectful and respected. We love you to the bones, you know that!

'Perkembangan' minggu ke 23 :)

After 2 months, we purposely postponed our appointment with my doctor. I just wanna keep wondering the baby's gender. But since I'm turning 6 month, there's no excuse to skip meeting my doc for the baby concerns :) As my previous post, I announced that we're expecting baby boy due Mid April :) 

Today, I woke up early (not too early) hehe. With full of determinations, spirits and desire: getting ready to meet my doc whom just got back (not really) from performing Hajj. So far, I did my check ups at Salam Medical Centre, Sec 19 Shah Alam. Haven't tried at other MC yet. InsyaAllah if god willing, I bersalin situ sahaja. I mean I love my doc! We have that 'chemistry' already so why not. 

Okay, I was so determined when I woke up today because I just knew it that I'm gonna know my baby's gender by now. Masa dalam bilik doctor, when I lay down for ultrasound check. Doc letak je 'gel' tu and cari baby, terus ....' haaa! it's a boy!' 

I terus pandang fadhil and smiled :) I giggled! 

Fadhil was the happiest, I must say. 

Baby tengah bersujud while we were checking him out tadi :) The best thing to hear from the doc was tumbesaran baby sangat cantek and he seems to have a long legs. Ikut ayah dia :) Hopefully everything when smoothly. InsyaAllah. Baby is only 579gram and how come bonda gained 10kg already! Oh my!! Haha. 

Doc ada pesan, save some weight for my 3rd trimester. I gain tremendously la on my 2nd tri compared during my 1st trimester. Hehe. Ok sorry, I know! I can't control it! But it's okay. I'm so happy hear that our baby is growing according to what he needs to be :) 

Keluar je bilik doc, I called Abah, Mak and Umi and told them about the news :) Alhamdulillah. Tak henti-henti bersyukur. 

Fadhil hugged me so tightly and say,' Sayang, thank you for the wonderful gift ever' 

 ..... awwwwwh!

Helo December

Hi all :) It's week 18 of my pregnancy. I've nothing much to update except that I finally got my red velvet cake that I've been craving for quite awhile. Yum :) 

Not all of you know that I am now enjoying my pregnancy, staying at home doing nothing. Embrace every moment. Nottt! LOL. I am now busy with my own label. Ceewah! I have something to sell off. For the first batch ni, I'm just gonna concentrate on cloths. Just rolling all my money up. Soon to be released. Hehe. In 2 or 3 days time. .. Butt I don't even have a name for my blogshop actually. ..

Okayy! Take care all. We're coming to the end, have a great December. Wow! That fast!?
